ABOUT PROJECT
A leading hospitality franchise required a tailored digital solution to manage its expanding network. The main challenges included reconfiguring the payment system to allow direct franchisee payouts and providing individual dashboards for franchisees to access business-critical data. Standard Wix tools had limitations, so our team at Davydov Consulting implemented custom solutions to overcome these constraints.
Project Scope
1. Payment System Reconfiguration
Goal: Redirect customer payments directly to franchisee accounts instead of the central account.
Actions Taken:
Integrated Stripe Connect as the main payment processor, enabling payment splitting per transaction.
Built a custom middleware layer to map bookings to the correct franchisee account.
Overcame Wix’s native single-account restriction using server-side coding and Stripe APIs.
Provided fallback compatibility with Square and Worldpay for wider regional coverage.
Result: Franchisees now receive payments directly, ensuring financial transparency and reducing administrative overhead.
2. Dashboard & Reporting System
Goal: Provide franchisees with access to their own bookings, calendar, and financial data.
Actions Taken:
Designed custom dashboards using Wix Velo, with secure conditional permissions.
